  • Brad places the shaft in the "D" position because he wants to use his driver and long irons.
  • He lays the ALIGN-DRIVE onto the ground and aims it slightly left of target (he's right-handed). This places the shaft at the proper 90 degree orientation perpendicular to the target line.
  • Then he tees up the ball 4-6 inches from the end of the shaft.
  • Next, he places his left foot in the left foot position, and right foot in the right foot "D" position.
  • After a brief waggle, he just swings. His swing will be directed toward the target because the ALIGN-DRIVE, his shoulders, and hips are automatically parallel to the target line.
ALTERNATE METHOD: Tee up first, then move the ALIGN-DRIVE into place relative to the ball. Then take your stance using ALIGN-DRIVE as your guide.

After practicing this way, you will come to recognize the look and feel of proper alignment and ball position. Users have also told us it makes a great putting practice aid. They align the white tube and place green shaft parallel to in the tube just about a putter's width away. They place the ball between the shaft and tube. Then they putt for a consistent stroke, keeping the blade square to the target. This makes it easy to align your stroke to the target rather than moving the blade in or outside the line.
