  • Brad places the shaft in the "5" position because he wants to use his mid (5-8) irons.
  • He lays the ALIGN-DRIVE onto the ground and aims it slightly left of target (he's right-handed).
  • Then he tees up the ball 4-6 inches from the end of the shaft. (Use a tee until you ALWAYS strike the ball cleanly)
  • Next, he places his left foot in the left foot position, and right foot in the right foot "5" position.
  • After a brief waggle, he just swings.
ALTERNATE METHOD: Tee up first, then move the Align-Drive into place relative to the ball.

You get the idea. The "9" position works the same way. Just insert the shaft into the "9" slot postion and move the back foot to the "9" foot position for use of all the short irons (9 - wedges). After practicing this way, you will come to recognize the look and feel of proper alignment and ball position.
