Using the Align-Drive provides a concrete reference for learning fundamental concepts of target alignment, ball position, and stance. The Align-Drive makes for a great addition to organized programs, and can be used as useful prizes or awards! We want to share with you how instructors are using the product with their students. For simplicity, comments refer to right-handed golfers, although the Align-Drive works both right or left handed.

By now, you should be familiar with how the Align-Drive works, and why it works. Here's some additional tips from professional golf instructors who have used the Align-Drive in different ways in their teaching and coaching. We hope these comments will help you decide to use the Align-Drive in your program or business.
Description: The student is told to aim at a target and hit some balls without any assistance. Then the student is told to "hold that stance," just prior to swinging. You tell the student that you want to compare their address (alignment, ball and feet position) with that of the Align-Drive practice aid. With the student holding their stance, the instructor then inserts the Align-Drive into the stance. Many students are surprised to see such a difference in alignment and ball position. Then, alow the student to hit some balls using the Align-Drive as a guide (trim the shaft, if necessary). Notice the difference. At first, the student may not trust the Align-Drive. A few shots my spray left or right because of this. Assure the student to relax, trust the swing and the Align-Drive without over thinking it, concentrating on striking the ball cleanly. If the change is dramatic, it could take a dozen balls before the student begins to consistently hit it directly at the target. This is because the student had been trying to compensate for poor alignment or ball position with the swing. Now, no compensation is needed.
Description: Jr. Golfers like the Align-Drive. They practice alignment, ball position and consistent setup. It doesn't matter how short or tall they are. Using the Align-Drive, have them adjust the rear foot to where it is comfortable for their height, but leave the forward foot stationary. This assures that the ball always comes off the forward heel a uniform distance. The Align-Drive is the perfect reward for good play, and provides an incentive for continued practice and promotes good habits.
Description: The Align-Drive is the perfect teaching aid when discussing and demonstrating the fundamentals of proper alignment, ball position and stance. The clinician can demonstrate clearly with the Align-Drive helping golfers visualize and grasp concepts. Just place three Align-Drives on the surface, each with the shaft in a different slot and with a ball positioned accordingly. Then, lay the appropriate club down over the Align-Drive tube, parallel to the shaft with the club head next to the ball. This provides a concrete image of how the length of the club determines distance from toe-to-ball. It also shows that as the loft on the club increases, the ball is moved back in the stance.
Description:
The Align-Drive is a high quality, professional teaching and practice aid.
When students finish
your lesson, you can provide the Align-Drive to them to take home to remember
your program as well as to promote good
on-going practice habits. This works especially well when the Align-Drive is
used as a training aid during the lesson, and/or if they have an especially
difficult time executing alignment and setup concepts.
